We kindly ask that you read our Terms and Conditions carefully prior to you making a booking with us. These include our rules of play for World of Wonder Playtime.
These ensure that everyone who visits us has a safe and enjoyable time here at World Of Wonder Playtime.
Play sessions
1. Each of our sessions sessions run for 90 minutes.
2. Our sessions are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10am until 11:30am & 12.00pm until 1:30pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Saturday & Sunday: 9:30am until 11:00am, 11:30am until 1:00pm & 1:30pm until 3:00pm
3. We are open 6 days a week
4. We ask that customers wait outside until we open our doors and arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their session starts.
Rules of Play
1. All children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Our staff will not take any responsibility for supervising or overseeing children under any circumstances.
2. Children and adults are required to remove their shoes upon entry. Socks must be worn at all times within the premises of World of Wonder Playtime, with the option to purchase them onsite if necessary.
3. Staff members of World of Wonder Playtime reserve the right to refuse entry and will not tolerate any abusive language directed towards fellow staff or members of the public.
4. At World of Wonder Playtime, it is our priority to ensure that every visitor has a delightful experience. We kindly remind parents and carers to ensure both their conduct and their children's behaviour reflect kindly. In the event that our staff perceives any aggressive behaviour or the use of abusive language from customers, they will be asked to leave the premises immediately without a refund or credit.
5. We ask that you don't arrive any sooner than 5 minutes before your allocated session time.
6. Only food and drink purchased from our cafe is to be consumed onsite. The exceptions being baby food and a water bottle for children. If there are any dietary requirements please make World of Wonder Playtime aware of this prior to arrival.
7. No food, drinks or chewing gum is to be consumed in the role play village or under 2's area.
8. If you or your child has any allergies, disabilities, medical conditions or anything else that you feel the need to make our team aware of prior to your arrival please contact us before your session. Our team will do everything possible to accommodate these needs during your visit.
9. Online booking is required. However walk-ins will be accepted when space is still available but this cannot be guaranteed.
10. Session times may be changed at the discretion of World of Wonder Playtime. In such a case every effort will be made to inform customers.
11. If customers arrive late they must still leave at the end of their allocated session time irrespective of the time they have spent at World of Wonder Playtime.
12. Celebration and birthday cakes must not be brought into general admission sessions.
13. We acknowledge that accidental damage may occur and request that such incidents be promptly reported to a staff member. Nevertheless, in cases where damage is deemed intentional or if excessive behaviour results in damage, reimbursement for a replacement will be required.
14. Any damaged or broken items should be promptly reported to a staff member.
15. All accidents and incidents must be promptly reported to a staff member to ensure the correct care/resolution and for our records.
16. Our six role-play rooms have been designed and tailored for children. It is essential for all accompanying parents or carers to be mindful of this aspect. In areas where the doorways are lower, extra caution should be exercised to avoid any accidents when entering or exiting each role-play room particularly with their heads.
17. Each session has a duration of 90 minutes. The schedule will be strictly adhered to, allowing our staff sufficient time to prepare the role-play village for the next session. 10 minutes towards the end the session children, parents, and carers will be encouraged to help tidy up with the sound of a bell & music
18. We want all children to enjoy their experience at World of Wonder Playtime and all efforts have been made to keep children safe and secure; however it is the responsibility of parents/carers to ensure that children do not put any toys or items in their mouths. Practically those who are under the age of 3 must be strictly supervised.
19. We have limited space to store prams and pushchairs in our cloak roam. We ask that prams and pushchairs are folded down to make more space available. World of Wonder Playtime will not take any responsibility for loss or damage to any pram/pushchair that is stored on our site.
20. We kindly ask that any children who are/or have been unwell refrain from visiting World of Wonder Playtime 48 hours prior to prevent the spread of infection- the ticket refund and transfer policy still applies.
21. If an adult or child displays to be unwell during a session they will be asked to leave immediately, no refund or credit will be given.
22. Smoking or e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited within World of Wonder Playtime.
23. World of Wonder Playtime will not take responsibility for the loss or damage to customers' valuables and personal property. Any valuables or personal property that customers do bring on site are brought at the customer's own risk and we do not accept any liability for such items.
24. Any items customers leave within our cloak room are left at the owners risk and World of Wonder Playtime will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged items.
25. Onsite parking is available however this is limited and will be on a first come first served basis. Customers who do use this parking understand that World of Wonder do not take any responsibility for loss, damage or accidents.
26. Upon leaving the premise please ensure that all World of Wonder playtime property is left behind.
27. Between each session we will close for 30 minutes to clean the play area and café. No customers are allowed during this time.
Tickets, Transfers and Cancellations:
1. All bookings and deposits are non-refundable. Transferring your ticket may be permitted within 48 hours’ notice confirmation via email must be made.
2. When a transfer of ticket has been permitted the session must be transferred within a month.
3. The ticket price allows admission for 90 minutes only and does not include any food or drink.
4. Priority is given to those customers who have pre-booked online. Entry for any walk-ins cannot be guaranteed.
5. If tickets are purchased on behalf of others it is the responsibility of the person booking to make the party aware of the terms and conditions.
6. Customers will receive a booking confirmation and it is your responsibility to check this confirmation and bring this with you to your session time.
7. Unaccompanied adults will not be permitted entry.
8. In exceptional circumstances World of Wonder Playtime reserves the right to close at any time due to circumstances beyond our control such as security, safety, flooding, fire etc. Refunds will be issued.
9. One adult is permitted to being a maximum of 3 children.
10. Bookings are restricted to a maximum of 6 children and 6 adults.
11. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and only valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
12. Birthday party celebrations can only be booked with us as a party package and cannot take place in general admission sessions.
13. World of Wonder Playtime reserves the right to increase prices at any time.
Parties:
1. Parties are available as exclusive hire from Monday – Sunday. Set party packages can be found on our website.
2. We have two party packages available it is the responsibility of the party booker to ensure they have requested the correct party package.
3. A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 must be made when booking your party. The remaining balance must be made 7 days prior to the party.
4. If you would like to cancel your party or transfer the date this request must be made with more than 30 days prior to the party date. If the party date is less than 30 days away the booking will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. The minimum amount of children for a party is 15 and the maximum is 20. Please ensure you include the birthday child in these numbers as the maximum capacity cannot be exceeded.
6. Please note that World of Wonder Playtime has been designed for children aged 0-7. Any siblings aged 8 and over can attend the party however they must remain in the seated café area.
7. All parties must be supervised by a responsible adult. The parents/carers of the children attending the party are permitted to stay. We request that a minimum of 1 adult per 4 children remain in the building for supervision of the children. There is a limit of 2 adults per child attending the party
8. Our parties are for a total of 90 minutes. This includes 60 minutes play within our role play village area (at which point all play areas are closed for a reset), followed by 30 minutes in our party room where the food and drinks are served along with the birthday cake celebrations.
9. We will provide food and drink for the party and it is the party parent’s responsibility to inform us of any special dietary or allergy requirements no later than 7 days prior to the party.
10. A list of all the children’s names attending the party must be emailed across no later than 7 days prior to the party.
11. The party booker must inform all those attending that socks must be worn.
12. The party booker must inform all those attending of the terms and conditions.
13. We do not provide a birthday cake or candles however you are more than welcome to bring your own.
14. The café will remain open during the party for purchase of any additional food or drink. No outside food or drink will be permitted.
15. Outside private mascots/entertainers may be allowed please speak with the team prior to the party to see if this will be possible.
16. Please arrive 5 minutes before your party time and no earlier.
17. It is the responsibility of the party booker to ensure all children are collected by a parent/carer at the end of the party.
18. The party booker must ensure that all items, and valuables are taken away at the end of the party from both the party room and café area.
19. If we have any unexpected emergencies that arise due to issues beyond our control such as burglary, flooding, heating, water failure a full refund will be given.
20. If during the party any issues arise please make our team aware so this can be solved as any such issue cannot be rectified once a party has finished.
School / Nursery visits :

2. A nursery or school booking includes admission for the number of children and adults agreed for a 90 minute session, held during a Wednesday between the hours of 9:30am until 3:00pm
3. School and nursery bookings can only be made on a Wednesday during Term Time at the advertised prices.
4.. Schools and nurseries can arrange a booking to attend World Of Wonder Playtime as exclusive hire of our venue.
Photography:
1. Customers are permitted to take photographs and videos of children within their party. Such photos and videos can be shared online for personal, private and non-commercial use.
2. World of Wonder Playtime cannot be held responsible for any photos or videos published online by adults.
3. Consent from children(s) parent/carers will be required when staff take photos and videos for online and promotional use.
Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions
1. These terms and conditions tell you about the legal terms and conditions which apply to your purchase and use of digital World Of Wonder Playtime Gift Voucher.
2. These gift voucher terms apply to pounds sterling gift cards purchased online through the World of Wonder Playtime website (www.worldofwonderplaytime.co.uk)
3. World Of Wonder Playtime reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our gift vouchers at any time. This does not affect your legal rights. Use of your World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully. It is your responsibility to check these gift voucher terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made. World Of Wonder Playtime gift vouchers remain the property of World Of Wonder Playtime who maintains the right to cancel the voucher in its sole discretion in situations where it is deemed necessary to do so (such as to comply with applicable laws or as a result of circumstances beyond its control).
4. The value of your World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher can be redeemed online at www.worldofwonderplaytime.co.uk provided the gift voucher is redeemed within the redemption period.
By way of example, a World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher purchased shall have a redemption period of 6 months from the date of issue.
5. The gift voucher balance cannot be exchanged for cash or redeemed against the purchase of another voucher.
6. The maximum amount that an individual World Of Wonder Playtime voucher limit is £50.00; this limit cannot be exceeded by performing balance transfers.
Validity
8. Your World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of activation which will be the date of the gift voucher purchase following which they expire automatically. A gift voucher cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed and the voucher will become invalid and no longer available for use. We have no obligation to remind or inform you of a gift voucher’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry.
9. A gift voucher expires automatically once its balance has been exhausted.
10. Gift vouchers may be used to pay for the whole or any part of general admission sessions.
11. Only one gift voucher may be used per online order.
Creating a World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher
14. For refunds where part payment was taken from a gift voucher, the refund will be credited to your gift voucher in the first instance.
15. If a partial refund is made for any purchase using a World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher and another method of payment, then any refund amount owing will be credited to the World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher in the first instance.
16. If the total to be refunded is more than originally paid by World Of Wonder Playtime gift voucher, then any remaining refund balance will be refunded to the other method of payment used by you (i.e. debit/credit card or cash).
